Unlike traditional GPS transceivers, GSM-based trackers are inexpensive and much smaller in size since they don't require high-powered radio antennas to communicate with GPS satellites.

The WorldTracker SMS is our smallest GPS tracker, but it is filled with powerful features. At only 45mm x 66mm x 25mm, the WorldTracker SMS is one of the smallest GPS tracking devices on the market. Smaller than most cell phones, the WorldTracker SMS nonetheless has the ability to track GPS position and broadcast this position using an internal GSM antenna. It weighs only 87 grams, and is ideal for covert tracking operations.

The WorldTracker SMS is also a tri-band module, which means it can work on cell phone networks virtually anywhere around the world. It has a positioning accuracy of less than 15 meters, and can operate for up to 24 hours on a full charge when in standby mode. With the additional backup battery package, the WorldTracker SMS can last for up to 4 days.

Like our other GPS tracking devices, the WorldTracker SMS offers a variety of different options for data output. You can set the unit to send GPS tracking information to a cell phone using SMS messages, or you can program it to deliver constant email updates to your computer. The WorldTracker SMS can even be programmed remotely by sending SMS commands to it from any cell phone, anywhere in the world.
