The complete case is only 6 1/2 x 4 x 1 3/4 inches and unit operates on 8 "AA" batteries. Additional time can be obtained by using lithium batteries. After 5 minutes of inactivity, the tracker will report it's current position and automatically shut down. When the target moves again the tracker will power up.
